Indian-Style Furniture

We’re about to head off to the south of India, but before we leave I thought I’d share some pictures of my friend’s exquisite Indian furniture. Katie has an exceptional sense of style, and has really managed to choose some beautifully unique, hand painted pieces. I’m crazy about the bedcovers she’s found too.

Isn’t it all beautiful? I also wanted to let you all know that I’ve asked the lovely stylist Kim Gray to do some guest posts for me. So you can expect to hear from her every Friday for the next three weeks. Enjoy!

  • The comparison of classical Indian furniture, it has a country style
  • sometimes it's weird and creepy buying these mini-statues. maybe they're coming back to life after I've taken them down here in the states and hunt me. I saw a movie like that lol :D

  • Indian culture is one of the richest culture I had seen well from their dresses, furniture up to the spices they use for their delicious cuisines
  • Superb furniture, especially those greenish bedside cabinets.

I had a look through the shop on this site but could not find any of the lovely furniture featured in you photographs. Is there any chance you could email me a link to where I could find such items?

What a shame there is no option to subscribe to the comments, if this was in place I could then subscribe and be emailed when you reply....

Many thanks for the inspiring photos.
  • Glad you liked the furniture. The post was purely showing the beautiful
pieces that my friend had found in India, I'm afraid she bought them from
physical stores and so you would need to visit the country to buy pieces
like that. And I'll look into adding the comment-subscription feature. Thank
    you.
