I’ve Baked Bread, Please Give Dough

I finally managed to make some time on Friday afternoon to bake a loaf of bread for the Blogger Bake-off fundraiser. I had Joyce and Noxie from Women of Vision with me (working on a Big Project – will blog about it soon) and thought it’s the perfect time to bake the bread, share it with them and then write a post.

I had mentioned that I wanted to try an Olive Cheese Loaf. I have to be honest that I bought the dough (just that much easier!) and then flattened it out and covered it with sun-dried tomatoes, olives and crumbled feta.

Next, I rolled it up, brushed on some egg and popped it into the oven.

It turned out just great (probably something to do with the fact that I didn’t make the dough myself!).

And it tasted even better. Joyce and Noxie agreed…

So, I’ve done my bit for the bake-off. Now, I just need to give dough and encourage all you to donate some too. If you put it under Babazeka’s name maybe the widget in my right column won’t look so sad. And you’ll be making hungry children in Africa very happy too!
