Life Less Plastic
Tying in with the post I wrote yesterday, about a business creating works of art out of wasted plastic, a friend of mine sent me the link to this fantastic blog, called Life Less Plastic. It’s written by a young American girl who, when realising how damaging plastic is to our bodies and the earth, decided to give it up all together.
Jeanne was asked to write a piece for the Dallas Sunday News about the task she’s undertaken. You can read the article called How I Gave Up Plastic here.
I know this doesn’t completely tie in with what I normally chat about on my blog, but in a way, using less plastic (or creating things out of recycled plastic) is something which can definitely will have a positive impact on our society, and that’s what Babazeka is all about. It’s such a worthwhile read, and perhaps something we should all consider taking into action in our daily lives. If you think it’s something you’d like to do, you can read Jeanne’s tips on getting started here.
