Some Retro Finds

I’ve spent lots of time this long weekend scouring the internet for inspiration for the range I’m working on and have found some pretty cool sites which I want to share with you. Take a look at Retro to Go. There are hundreds of amazing products, one of my favourites being these Laura Ahsley handbags which are modern in design but are made from fabrics from their archives. Wouldn’t it be such fun to design for a company that’s been around for so long you can just turn to old archives to re-invent. And how cute are these 70’s handmade doll kits also on Retro to Go?

And then there’s Wallpaper from the 70’s. Not only do I adore the designs, but I just love seeing the bits and pieces of decor they’ve used in the gallery shots. I could just put it all into my home.

The last one for today is Retro Renovation, with so many fantastic tips and ideas if you want to do pretty much anything with a retro feel to your house. Look at this post about a 1962 renovated home. How amazing is all that furniture?!

I plan on sharing more and more of my finds as I go along. Hope you like :)
