Santa Shoe Box
What a beautiful idea! The Santa Shoe Box project encourages people to donate gift boxes to give to underpriviledged children at Christmas. Their target this year is to give to 12 000.
They explain exactly how to prepare each box you donate, so that each child receives an equal amount of gifts, but also so that they’re suitable for the child’s age. It’ll include things like a tooth brush and tooth paste, an educational toy, clothing, some sweets, etc. You then drop your donation off at the nearest depot to you.
The deadline is the 20th October. I really encourage each of you to send in a gift box. What a difference it will make to the life of a beautiful little child this Christmas :)
