Hello everyone
It’s great to finally be blogging for Babazeka albeit from very far away in grey, windy London – autumn has definitely arrived in the UK and the leaves are starting to turn the most beautiful colours. I love this time of year here; time to get our winter clothes out and wrap up warm.
As Sarah mentioned, I first came across Babazeka one Christmas when I was staying in Knysna and bought a Mongoose bag from her at the local Sunday market. I checked out the website when I got back to the UK and just loved what Sarah was doing and the products she was selling through her online shop. Like Sarah, I love beautiful things and am passionate about crafts, design, fashion and textiles.
I’m equally as passionate about positive social change and individuals, projects and organisations that aim to make a difference through the work that they do. So for that reason (as well as having fallen in love many years ago with Africa and all things African!) I am really pleased to be involved. I hope to share with you ideas, trends, products and anything else wonderful and unusual happening on this side of the world.
